Opening up the typical office core by turning it into a communal park-like space, Naturally Lit and Ventilated to reconnect the structure to its Outside Urban Environment

The questions we ask ourselves:

How can we get away from a traditional rectangular office block without losing too much of the economical space planning?
How can we turn the traditionally enclosed office core into an interactive outdoor space with communal park and natural air, whilst reconnecting it to the neighborhood and its main streets?

These two questions have led us to multiple design strategies and concepts that start from the vibrant ground floor retail activities, making its way up to the main entrance plaza of the office tower. It continues upwards to become:

Vertical circulations that act as outdoor emergency staircases
Vertical green space acting as outdoor vertical park for office workers
Connecting core between the west and the east side of the tower
